Nsawam City Sporting Club Secures International Transfers for Five Players

Nsawam City Sporting Club, a Division Three side in the Nsawam- Adoagyiri municipality of the Eastern Region of Ghana has achieved a major milestone by successfully completing international transfers for five of its players ahead of the 2025/2026 football season.

The move marks a significant breakthrough for the young club, highlighting its growing reputation for talent development.

Three of the transferred players have secured contracts with top-flight clubs across Africa. These include Garde Nationale FC of Niger, Manzini Wanderers FC of Eswatini, and Barau Football Academy, a Niger-based Premier League outfit. The remaining two players will feature for CK Survivors FC, a Division One club in Eswatini.

Club founder, owner, and financier Nurudeen Adam Sahmudeen expressed pride in the achievement, noting that the transfers reflect the hard work and potential of the players and the club’s commitment to elevating young talent to the international stage.

Mr. Sahmudeen,  also serves as the Chairman of the Nsawam-Adoagyiri Municipal Football Association and an Executive Committee Member of the Eastern Regional Football Association.

 “This is a big moment not only for the players but also for the entire Nsawam City Sporting Club family,” he said. “We are committed to building a pathway for more young footballers to reach higher levels of professional football.”

Mr Sahmudeen  believes these transfers will inspire other emerging players in Nsawam and beyond, while strengthening its vision of becoming a recognized hub for nurturing football excellence in Ghana.
